Shop Friends

In addition to a variety of animals in the process of finding new permanent and loving homes, Fetch Thrift Shop is home to several beloved animals who are animal ambassadors for our great cause of helping animals in need.

And, your FRIENDLY friends are welcome to visit the shop when you do.

Stop in and meet our shop friends!

Ladybug

Ladybug is our chief guard dog of the shop.

She was found as a stray running down the highway in Miami. You will sometimes meet her behind the counter, but her favorite spot is high on her perch above the store barking at our guests as they enter.

Tillie

Tillie is our little white-haired old woman at the thrift shop.

She was adopted in February of 2020 as a senior dog (10 years old). She prefers to be no less than an inch away from her mother, proving that senior dogs have plenty of love left to give.

Amos

Amos is Charissa’s beloved African Grey and is more than 30 years old.  He loves whistling along to the shop music and will come over and greet you when he’s not busy chewing things up. He has his own room and free access to fly when he is not working as a greeter at the shop. He was born in captivity but his origin is the African Congo.

Parrots have joined the ranks alongside the most discarded, homeless pets. Sadly they’re also one of the most misunderstood and underestimated ones. Parrots unlike dogs and cats are not domesticated animals. Parrots are inherently wild, which makes them destructive, messy and noisy companions. As a result many parrots are forced to live their entire lives in small cages or basements alone. Please do your research before adopting an exotic pet.
